JESSICA M. KENNEDY
Jessica Kennedy is a Floridian born and raised. She attended the University of Central Florida and obtained a degree in Legal Studies and Political Science. While at UCF she was a member of the Trial Team, Philanthropy Chair of Phi Alpha Delta and the Legal Studies Representative on the Dean’s Leadership Counsel. During her tenure in college, Jessica was a spokesperson for the Seminole Prevention Coalition, a non-for-profit organization seeking community-based assistance for at-risk children. Jessica went on to obtain her law degree from the University of Florida where she was an Advocate Finalist in the premier mock trial competition “Final Four”, President of the Law Association for Women, and Chair of the Community Service Committee. She received a book award for her skills in Trial Advocacy and was a teaching assistant for the course. Jessica has an affinity for traveling and international affairs. She attended the International Trade and Business Exchange Program at Université Montpellier in France and has traveled to over a dozen countries.
After law school Jessica began her legal career in the insurance defense and personal injury arena. She later relocated to Huntsville, Alabama and worked in-house for LG Electronics Alabama, Inc. At LG she established nation-wide resolutions for consumer Defective Repair claims, developed risk management evaluations in conjunction with cost saving analysis and was a member of the Customs Compliance Team, assisting logistics and sales in managing international trade while preserving Federal and internal compliance regulations. Jessica has always been hands-on in her practice, attending ride-alongs with technicians, undergoing product-specific training and completing a medical terminology course to gain familiarity with the medical field.
Community involvement is an important aspect of Jessica’s life, and she continues to support a variety of organizations including Children of the Nations, The Manna Project International and the Family Readiness Group of the 3-347th Regiment, 158th Infantry Brigade.
